ONE FUJI. SHARED FUTURE.
A heritage to inherit. A future to create.
Mount Fuji has inspired faith, art and everyday life for generations. We help pass its cultural heritage and beautiful environment on to the future.
ABOUT THE COUNCIL
Preserving Fujisan for future generations.
The National Council on Fujisan World Heritage is a certified nonprofit organization established in 2005. We supported Mount Fuji’s inscription as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site in 2013. Today, our work continues through conservation, cultural communication and public support.
Fujisan is a sacred place and a source of artistic inspiration. Its heritage includes 25 component parts, linking the mountain with shrines, lakes, springs and other cultural places.
